OUTDOOR ATHLETICS NEWS BULLETIN
JULY 2010

On  June a number of our athletics group were selected to take part in the Initial Heats of the Milton Keynes Athletics Championships.  All the children and spectators from Hanslope gave a 100%.  We were delighted to receive the news that the following children/teams made it through to the finals:

Joe Mercer – Senior Triple Jump
Emma Cheong – Senior Triple Jump
Jess Lalor – Senior Long Jump
Patrick Forster – Junior 600 Metres
Millie Ray Morley – Senior 800 Metres
Rebecca Herring – Senior 800 Metres
Shannon Float – Senior 200 Metres
Connor Allen – Junior 150 Metres
Shannon Float, Rebecca Herring, Rebecca Common, Merin Black,
Emma Cheong –  Senior 4 x 100 Metres

Then the finals arrived …..  and in  July our selected team made us very proud.   of our children came back with placed medals:

Shannon Float – Silver Medal for the Senior Girls 200 Metres
Connor Allen – Silver Medal for  the junior boys 150 Metres
Senior Girls 4x 100 metres – Bronze Medal
