Hanslope Primary School is a popular school which serves the villages of Hanslope and Castlethorpe. We cater for approximately 250 children between the ages of 4+ and 12.

There has been a school on this site since 1873 when the original Board School was opened to provide a basic education for the families of farmworkers, lace makers and other tradesmen who lived in Victorian Hanslope.  The old school, one of two in the village was replaced in the late sixties and the current buildings were extended again in the 1970’s.

Today the school consists of two main buildings. The main entrance and reception area is in the Salcey building which holds 5 classrooms, a hall, library, and ICT suite. The Linford building caters for our youngest children and includes our early years base as well as 2 other classrooms, another hall and library area as well as a music practice room. Our newly refurbished Surestart Children’s Centre is also located here.
